Hi Steve
Thanks, I have sorted it in the end. You see for a beginner who has never used the product the first thing they will do is refer to the user guide which isn't correctly provided with the product.
Anyhow the product suggests swapping disks around and then using the bootup software provided by acronis to boot up and do a disk clone.
Obviously one changes hard drives around then goes to look for this boot up software which lots of info of what it is but hardly any info on where to get it from. finally a google turns up the knowledge base article which suggests using the web interface to log in and download products.
As i have mentioned, following the article method of going to web interface does not appear to work, the user is presented with a dialog box that has 3 selection boxes with nothing in it to select.
I ended up looking through forum and looking at the pdf document someone has uploaded it was a case of loading up the actual acronis software on the windows which meant swapping disks back again inorder to access it - then to do near enough similar actions well recovery and download iso which provides you with iso.
The point of my post is to outline the knowledgebase needs updating to point accurately to what needs to be done
the steps provided for cloning laptop software should clearly outline where to go and how to get the boot up iso from, this is from a beginner point of view all made convoluted and difficult to acccess.

Vahid, the documentation for OEM versions is provided by the third party companies that provide the software and has been of questionable quality as reported here in these forums.
With regards to Cloning, then I would recommend reading post: 128231: [IMPORTANT] CLONING - How NOT to do this!!! which was written because of the errors made by beginners like yourself who then came to the forums seeking help to try to undo mistakes they made.
