True Image 2017 and Windows Server 2016

Thread needs solution

Will I be able to install ATI-2017 in a windows server 2006 machine and be able to back up specific files?  Or is ATI not compatible with Windows Server?

C.C. according to the ATIH 2017 User Guide:

Supported operating systems

Acronis True Image 2017 has been tested on the following operating systems:

  • Windows XP SP3 (32-bit) *
  • Windows 7 SP1 (all editions)
  • Windows 8 (all editions)
  • Windows 8.1 (all editions)
  • Windows 10 (all editions)
  • Windows Home Server 2011

ATIH 2017 is aimed primarily at the Home user market, not at server or business systems which there are other Acronis business products available for.  I would recommend opening a support chat with Acronis about their product range to find which one would be best for your server requirements.

Thank you for the responses.

Wagner, please see the earlier responses in this topic - ATIH 2017 is not supported for use in a Windows Server 2016 environment (real or virtual).
