Acronis True Image 2018 aking for serial number after creating many daily backups

I upgraded from Acronis T I 17 to 18 more than a week ago and have done seven daily incremental backups since then but cannot now open the program because it keeps asking me for the serial number and says it is activated but still keeps asking and will not open

Bryan, sorry to hear that you are hitting this activation / serial number issue.  Please open a Support Case direct with Acronis for this as they need to resolve this with you.

We have seen reports from some other users about the same type of behaviour and there does seem to be an issue for a small number of users with licensing in 2018 which Acronis have been able to resolve for those users.
