ati 2018 validation failed

Thread needs solution

Hi all, 

i am receiving the following message near the end of the validation process of my last backup on an external SSD hardisk.

''corrupted file, this may be due to poor media quality''.

I tried to back up on 2 different external drive.

Anybody knows where I can look for troubleshooting for this?

You are more likely to get a response if you post in the forum for the particular product and in the case of ATI version you are having a problem with.

jm, could you please attach the log file once again. Have you tried checking the drives for errors?

what do you mean by ''checking the drives for errors''?

To check the drive for errors you can use the Windows chkdsk utility.  Have a look in my signature links below at "Fix Disk Corruption" for a how to on the utility.
