Cannot Create Full Backup

Thread needs solution

Hello,

I have encountered the following issue with my True Image 2018 setup.

I originally set the program up to create a new full backup for every six incremental backups. When I checked, it was making more than the six incrementals without creating a new full backup. As well, several of the backups said "0 kbytes". Perhaps I am misunderstanding something, but one of my co-workers has been writing new files to the drive every week and, while they may vary in size, it should read more than 0 should it not?

I made some changes to the settings. I directed it to delete the old full backup and tried to do a "manual" full backup, it took about a second and said "Backup successfully completed (0 kbytes)" of a 380+Gigabyte source drive with several folders selected for backup. That was obviously not the result I was looking for.

I have attached the last log file. Not sure what I'm doing wrong here. At this point I would just like to successfully create a new full backup and start doing a new set of incremental backups. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

The log file shows the following error near the beginning:

Error 0x17001a: Failed to create snapshot for backup.

This is normal for a backup with a remote location for the Source data, i.e. NAS folder.

Further from the log, I see:

Create Backup Archive From: nas://SMWDB/Data/
To file: (1)Data_full_b4_s1_v1.tib

In the ATI 2018 GUI, select this (1)Data backup task then try using the option to 'Open location' to see if this opens the NAS folder location to show you the files held there.
You should also reselect both the Source and Destination locations for this task.
