Store no more than x doesn't work

Thread needs solution

Hey guys, I have a drive backup with these settings:

I believe this should mean that at any given time i will max have 3 full chains (2 done, 1 in progress), of 7 versions.

Then how come this is my current backup drive?
I have 49 files, 7 per version, 7 full chains.
Shouldn't the automatic cleanup remove the old ones?

InFish, welcome to these User Forums.

You are correct, automatic cleanup should delete all your older completed version chain files, i.e. those for the B4, B5, B6 & B7 chains should have been removed when your B9 chain was started.

The only reason why this may no have happened is if the backup scheme settings have been changed and were set to a different 'Store no more than' setting which has now been reduced down to 2?

It may be worth opening a Support Case directly with Acronis if this situation stays the same when your next full B10 backup gets created.

I don't remember what the setting was for B1,2 but from B3 and forward the settings has been the same all the way to B9.

I have manually removed B3 and B4 to make room for B10, and I'll try and see if B10 removes B5,6,7.
Otherwise I'll take your advice and create a support case directly with Acronis.

Thanks :)
