TI keeps taking Incrementals
I have a backup scheme that is supposed to take a full backup every six weeks, then five weekly incrementals, then another full, etc.
It's been working great until recently, but for some reason it now appears to be loathe to take another Full backup - it's now up to its ninth Incremental since the last Full, and showing no inclination to take another Full any time soon!
The only thing that has changed recently is that I recovered a about 1.2GB of files from this backup a couple of days before the most recent Full backup, though I have no idea whether - or indeed how - that might have caused it to extend the current incremental chain into the foreseeable future.
Any suggestions how I can convince this thing to start a new chain with a new Full backup?
Thanks!

Jon, thanks for posting your update and good to know that your backup task has done the new full backup as expected.
Difficult to say why the difference in behaviour here unless your 1.2GB of files that you recovered included any files / folders in the C:\ProgramData\Acronis path?

Hi, Steve.
No, the restore was a Firefox profile directory - nothing related to TI in any way. The Full backup completed in a little less than an hour; I'll update here if it doesn't take another Full as it should next month.
Cheers,
Jon
