Trouble restoring tib on New Lenovo P340

Thread needs solution

Used live method to create both an as-built and an after-updates disk images from the 256G SSD drive ... the P340 has a 1.8TB Data HD which I was attempting to mount as C:\users but something went wrong with this process ... SO ... now attempting to load back either one of these tib images

Issue 1)  Acronis Live Recover wants to reboot to a recover script BUT never starts the recover script after reboot

created a recovery DVD (made ISO with UEFI support and burned a DVD on another machine)

P340 has a SECURE OS flag set in BIOS that needed to be turned off to allow the recovery DVD to boot

Issue 2)

a) the recovery is wanting to select a second disk drive (DISK 2) to continue ... I only made a backup of the SSD so why is it asking for a second DISK?  ... the process only provides a Cancel as no available disk drives are listed

b) the recovery for whatever reason can't see the local HardDrive only the SSD

Am I doing something wrong ... left out some step

Would Acronis 2021 possibly resolve any of these issues

Terry, is the Lenovo P340 still able to boot correctly into Windows?  If yes, then you need to ensure that you create the 'Simple' Windows PE version of the Acronis bootable Rescue Media to use for any recovery operations.  Ideally, the media should be created on a small (2GB min / 32GB max USB stick) or else on a DVD directly from the Acronis bootable Rescue Media Builder application.  (There is no need to create ISO images then burn them with another tool on a different PC unless this is because there is no DVD writer present).

Note: you should not be using the Linux based ISO rescue media as it is likely to have limitations that will come into play with your Lenovo PC.

If your Lenovo PC is using UEFI boot mode to boot into Windows, then the same mode is needed to boot the Acronis rescue media when performing the recovery.
