Backup simply copy files without .tib?

Thread needs solution

Good evening,
i'm using Acronis since some years, i create .tib backup usualy incremental and every week a new Full.

Now i have to backup files simply copying them in another location, every night, overwriting the past backup. Not in .tib file.

Can Acronis do that?

Thank you so much

Nino

Nino, if you use Acronis to backup your files, then these will be using .tib archive files, not as simple file copies.

You may want to consider using other sync type tools including the integrated Windows Robocopy tool that could probably do what you need.

See webpage: Robocopy and a Few Examples

Thank you, what about "advanced --> rescue backup copy --> copy files as is" ? can i use it, so i have a tib files AND files as is?

Nino, sorry but the Backup reserve copy option just creates a second full backup archive using a .tib file and is only available for Files & Folders tasks.  It does not copy any files 'as is'.
