Can Memory Integrity be turned off only when using ATI to backup?

Thread solved

I have read the posts about ATI installation and it's driver problem with Windows 11 and windows memory integrity and I have the following question:

what would happen if I turn off memory integrity, install Acronis 2019, close out the program and then turn the memory integrity back on and then, since I only backup on a monthly basis, turn it off before I run ATI, make my full image backup and then close out ATI and then turn memory integrity back on?

Would that work or would there still be a problem?

Thank you in advance.

Joe

Sorry Joe, but that won't work. The issue is that once ATI is installed the tib.,sys driver is installed and just its presence is enough to cause memory integrity to fail, whether it is loaded or not, whether the driver is even enabled or not. I have not done a lot of testing, but was hoping to find a clean way to make this all work but haven't found it yet.

The other posts talk about ways to rename the driver so it cannot be detected.

Thank you Bruno. One of the reasons that i stick with Acronis is because of you, Steve Smith and IanL and all of the other people who answer and post solutions.  It really is helpful; and useful to  a home user like myself.  I appreciate all of the time and effort that is put into this forum by the volunteers.  Thank you for all of that.

I will follow Steve's directions for renaming that file.
