Error 0x40001: Error occurred while reading the file druring backup
Hello Sirs,
I'm trying to backup my mac boot disk (High Sierra) using Acronis True Image 2019 version 23.2.13660 and I'm getting this error message: Error 0x40001: Error occurred while reading the file during backup. In the log file it seems not to be abe to read the file:
file: /private/bs_hudson/workspace/master/517/product/core/file/unix/posixsp.cpp:291
But I checked my Hd and it doesn't have such file. I even tried to exclude the /private folder in the Acronis backup preferences (Exclusions) and backup it again but got the same error message.
Any ideas?
The following log is returned:

I have exactly the same problem.
What is Claire talking about 'As described in the Acronis article, you may resolve the issue by increasing the size of the temporary file relative to free disk space, or by moving the temporary file to another partition with more free space'?
What article and what temporary file?

Scratch this post - wrong KB article so I removed it (I added one earlier in this post, but it was the wrong info after checking it more closely). Not sure what article was referenced by the other user above either.

Was there ever any resolution to this? I get a similar error message when trying to backup all partitions on a Windows 7 machine. And like the original post, the error references a folder named "bs_hudson" that doesn't exist on the hard drive (I have my folder settings set to show hidden files and folders). It also mentions not enough disk space but I have plenty. TIA.

Doug, sorry but much more information is needed for this issue being reported, plus the original poster was coming from a Mac system.
Please use the 'Create New Topic' button in the ATI 2018 forum given your log shows you have ATI 2018 build #15470 not ATI 2019 for this forum.
Note: the references to c:\bs_hudson\workspace\ etc are purely internal diagnostic messages that do not reflect any folders on your computer.
When you open your new topic, please provide the full ti_demon log file for the errors being seen, ideally please zip the log file so that the original file name is kept, or else upload an Acronis System Report zip file (if less than 8MB in size) which captures all the log files.
