Restore from none-stop backup after Windows 10 rebuild & reinstalling True Image
Hi All
How do we restore from a none-stop 'time explorer storage' backup after Windows 10 rebuild & reinstalling True Image 2019?
'Add existing backup' doesn't find any backup files???
Thanks in the hope of a reply.
PS. Have I searched for similar discussions? No - I can't see a search forum option!!!

George, I did some further testing and while there looks to be no method to add back an existing NSB storage folder to a new install of ATI, you can recover the data from that NSB if you boot your computer from the Acronis Rescue Media (or using Acronis Startup Recovery Manager) where if your storage location is available, the Non-Stop Backup will be found automatically and offered as a Recovery option.

I have been told by Acronis technical support that you cannot add a nonstop backup task. There is a thread in the ATI 2020 forum where I recount my experience with this. See Non-Stop Back - task was not retrieved.
I found I could access the the data by navigating to the backup file using Explorer and double clicking on the file.

Hello Everyone,
clarified the topic with the development team - yes, adding a nonstop backup back to the list is currently not supported due to differences in the archive structure of a nonstop and a regular backup. I've registered all related topics in our internal ticket TI-204779 No method to add an existing Nonstop Backup in the GUI.
