Sector-by-sector mode in cloning?
I purchased the license for Acronis True Image 2019 in hopes of using it to clone disks and make backups and such. It used to work like a charm and do everything exactly how I wanted it to.
Recently, I have run into some problems: when I try to clone using a larger source disk and a smaller destination disk I receive errors that I need x amount of space to be able to perform the clone. For example, I use a 1TB source disk with 50GB used up, and I want to clone it on a 120GB SSD. It does not let me! I think it has switched itself into sector-by-sector mode, but I cannot find an options tab for the cloning section to turn it off.
I found an options tab for the backup section, but I have no problems with my backups.

Farid, you need to check the messages that Acronis writes to the log file for your clone issue, that will say what the real issue is here and also whether sector-by-sector mode has been invoked due to bad sectors etc?
Please download the MVP Log Viewer tool (link in my signature below) and use this to review the log file for your cloning operation (if performed in Windows).
