True Image does not find real Full backup file, and shows that incremental backup is full backup.
Hi experts!
I did full backup once, and then only incremental backups.
Now I need to recover my Windows PC and Acronis True Image shows, that starting point (full backup) is my first incremental backup.
And cannot find tche real full backup file (but it exists, in the same directory).
See pic attached.
Trying to validate archive shows me, that "The backup is corrupted, but you can still try to recover data from it". Which is obvious, since it doesn't see the full backup file.
How can I fix this?
Is there any tool to validate main full backup file?
I did backups with True Image 2016, but 2016 and 2019 show me the same.

Yes, same chain.
Every time I created inc backup, I manually chose another name for it to include date.
So, I need to change names of all inc backups to match the full backup, right?

Sergey, if you have renamed the backup .tib files manually outside of doing this in the ATI GUI, then this will stop Acronis from finding the correct files for your version chain.
If you rename the task in the GUI before running the next backup, then Acronis would create the next backup file using the new name and be able to track the different names in the chain.

Yup.
FYI, as a recommendation...
The creation date of the files will tell you when they were made. This date carries with files if you ever cut and paste them for some reason. When you use copy and paste, they get a new date as of the copy time.
It's nit recommended to manually modify the backup files outside of Acronis while actively using that backup in the Acronis console.
Also, you can use the "comments in a backup" to help identify the dates or give yourself some information of the state of that backup. For instance tagging a comment before a Windows update or a major application upgrade can be helpful.
