Unknown Acronis Popup

Thread needs solution

10 year True Image user and never had a problem until now. Am installing True Image 2019 on a new Windows 10 computer. All went well. I created a backup and that is working.
PROBLEM IS-- I keep getting a file manager window popping up titled "Locate the volume with the number x" with x being an incrementing number. If I try to close this window, Acronis pops up another one with the x incremented.

What is this?  I don't know where this is coming from or why it is there, or what it is asking me to do. I find several other complaints in this forum about this problem, clear back to 2012, but they are all marked as unresolved.

If I can't get this solved quickly, I will have to remove True Image and buy another solution, as it is impossible to work on a computer with an errant application constantly popping this up over the top of the app I am trying to use.

Steven, welcome to these public User Forums.

Sorry but more information is needed to try to help you with this issue.

What type of backup are you creating / running here?
Disks & Partitions or Files & Folders?

Where is the Destination for this backup?
Local / external drive, network storage / NAS, or Acronis Cloud servers?

What backup scheme is being used?
Full, Incremental, Differential ?

What other options are being used with the backup?
Backup only, Backup with validation?

Please download the MVP Log Viewer tool (link in my signature below) and use this to review the log file for your backup operation. This should provide more information on what is happening to cause the pop-up messages.

Note: please ensure that you have installed the final build #17750 for ATI 2019 to have all fixes for known issues available.  The build is shown on the Account page in the ATI GUI.

If the above does not help identify the core issue, then please collect an Acronis System Report zip file and share a link to this via a cloud sharing service such as Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox etc.
