Rob, see forum topic: TrueImage mounted drive icon persists in Explorer after unmounting - where another user reported the same issue recently.

Note: the remedy requires making a change to the Windows Registry by using 'regedit', so if doing this, please take great care and ensure you have a backup in case of any mistakes!

I would recommend exporting the specific registry branch prior to making any changes.

In the registry editor (regedit) navigate to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\DriveIcons

Export that top branch by right-clicking on the name in the left panel then on export.

Expand the branch to see what DriveIcons are shown, where you should see the drive letter from your mounted Acronis .tib file.

Expand any individual drive letter shown if it has > at the left, then check to see if this then has a DefaultIcon entry?  If so, you could delete either the DefaultIcon entry or the parent drive letter entry.

The above images show the situation before any changes are made.

The further images show the left over drive letters being deleted and the end result.

Hello Steve

Thanks for your reply I follow the steps problem solve, Thanks Rob75
