Backup File Variances Between Online Dashboard and Mac App
I'm a new user trialling ATI2020 for the first time, so please be accomodating of any shortcomings in my knowledge. I just completed my first ~550GB backup of photos from my portable HDD, and when I logged into the Online Dashboard I noticed several of the first few files in each backup folder appear to be corrupted.
As per the attached screenshot of one of the folders in my backup, when viewed within the Online Dashboard, the files in question all have a "._" in front of their file names, and they're much smaller (4KB) than they should be (note the other files are 7MB). If I recover these seemingly-corrupted files from the Online Dashboard, my Mac can't open them and says they're damaged.
I re-ran the backup to see whether the offending files would be replaced with backups of the correct size and file names, but to no avail.
Intriguingly, and as per the second attached screenshot, if I open up the same folder within the Recovery section of the Mac App, the same backed up files have the correct naming format and they're the correct size. Furthermore, when I recover them to my Mac, they work just fine.
I'd be grateful for and advice, insights or experience on what could be causing these unexpected variations, and whether there's a way to fix them. Naturally, if I'm going to invest in a backup solution, I need to know I can rely on it, and the aforementioned oddity is something of a concern.

Hi Ian,
Thanks for taking the time to read my post, and for your advice re adding it to the Mac forum. Somehow I completely missed it :D I've also logged a case with Acronis Support, so one way or another I hope to get some answers.
