Faulty log file displaying date in the future

Thread needs solution

Hello everyone! For a few months i've been seeing this record on the Activity tab. I don't know when the event actually happened, but since the data is January 1, *2040* it always appears at the beginning of the list, and it's really annoying. I've search for the logs in C:\ProgramData\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Logs\ti_demon, but i don't find anything weird. Even deleting the logs make no change, so i'm wondering if i'm looking in the right place. Any suggestion? Thanks!

Didac, welcome to these public User Forums.

Very strange issue and suggests that perhaps your computer clock was set to a future date at some point when a backup was being made, or something else corrupted the date/time for the log file involved.

With ATI 2020, the ti_demon logs only hold minimal information about backup activities, so this could be coming from several other places.

Check C:\ProgramData\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Logs\backup_worker\ for the logs there which have all the detailed information about your backup tasks.

If that doesn't resolve this, then it may be picking up information from the internal database files used by ATI and you may need to force a rebuild of those files, which is described in KB 60915: Acronis True Image: repairing program settings - for how to do this.
