I can't backup the files on my laptop
When I insert the pen drive and the hard disk and I reboot the notebook, Acronis finds the hard disk and pen drive but not the 250GB SSD inside the computer. I also tried to disable UEFI and Secure Book but without success. My laptop model is "Dell Vostro 3590 55K8N". I removed the PC from the box, installed utilities and programs, updated the OS and did nothing else! Thank you

Thank youGiampiero, what version of Acronis True Image are you using here? Is it ATI 2020 as per this forum thread?
What type of ATI rescue media is on your pen drive?
For the ATI 2018 & later version rescue media, there are 3 different versions available:
Simple: created based on your Windows Recovery Environment for WinPE media.
Advanced: created based on Windows ADK (or AIK for earlier OS versions) - WinPE media.
Advanced: created based on a small Linux distro OS (BusyBox) or created from the .ISO CD image download from your Acronis Account page.I suspect that you have not installed ATI on your computer and are therefore using the Linux based rescue media, if so then this has no support for NVMe M.2 SSD drives or those using RAID for the SATA controller mode.
If your Dell laptop has a NVMe M.2 SSD installed (as I suspect it has) then you need to create the Windows PE version of the rescue media after installing ATI on the laptop.
There should be no need to disable either UEFI or Secure Boot. NVMe drives require UEFI to work correctly, so if you disable this, the laptop is unlikely to boot.
I don't want to install any programs on my notebook. I have never installed any particular programs on my personal notebook to back up with Acronis. I want to continue like this.
What Acronis product do I need to buy to create a pen drive that always works?
Yes, I use A.T.I. 2020. I don't remember the version anymore. On the executable file I read 24.4.1.21400. I don't even remember how I created the ISO file anymore.
Could you send me two screen-shots to help me create a pen drive that works for all PCs?
Yes, my PC has a 256GB NVME disk.
There are so many free software to make backups. I chose Acronis because I don't want to have too many headaches.
On the net I find this guide:
https://kb.acronis.com/content/63226
but I also find other things written that I struggle to understand.
I would like to know if the advanced ISO allows you to create backup files that can be used on completely different computers.
In September I would like to buy another notebook for my brother and I would like to know if I can make a restore of the files I have on my laptop.
I would like to bring my Windows configuration to another laptop or desktop PC and I would like Windows 10 to self-download correct drivers and license from the network. Is this possible with an advanced ISO or is it science fiction?

Giampiero, sorry but you have not answered my questions above?
What is the actual drive in your laptop that the ATI rescue media doesn't see?
What version of ATI do you have?
How did you make the ATI rescue media?
The Windows PE version of ATI rescue media can only be created from the installed ATI application in Windows. It is not provided as a download option by Acronis due to Microsoft licensing rules for the PE components.

I edited the message and answered your questions, but now I don't see anything. Sorry.
The disc that ATI 2020 does not see is an SSD NVMe about 250GB (I do not know if it is M.2 because I did not open the laptop).
I have ATI 2020 version number 24.4.1.21400. Right now I do not have ATI 2020 installed on my computer and the . ISO I created a long time ago, in October 2019.
I no longer remember how I created the media but maybe I created a simple ISO, not an advanced ISO.

I upgraded the program to version 25700:
I created the ISO with WinPE and I got this:
I see the pen drive but I don't see the NVMe disk.
I did everything perfectly.
Which of the following 3 cases is the correct one?
1) I was wrong to download libraries;
2) Acronis does not back up NVMe disks;
3) I have to use Acronis Backup Advanced.
Thanks to those who can help me

Giampiero,
Thank you for confirming that you are using Windows 10 with ATI 2020 build 25700.
ATI 2020 does backup NVMe drives with no issues when using WinPE rescue media - my own laptop has a 500GB Samsung Evo 970 Plus NVMe M.2 SSD that I upgraded from a smaller 128GB SSD using my own rescue media (Backup & Recovery). See forum topic here where I documented that upgrade process, including screen images.
If you have Windows 10 with a valid / working Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE), then you do not need to download any additional libraries to make Windows PE rescue media, as the Acronis Rescue Media Builder tool 'Simple' method will use the WinRE files to create the media and include device drivers for the devices installed on your laptop.
You can check that the WinRE is good by holding the Shift key when clicking on Restart in Windows 10, this should bring up the Windows Recovery Menu panel.
When you boot from the Acronis Rescue Media (DVD or USB stick) you must boot using the UEFI boot option for that media. If you boot from the Legacy option (if offered) it will not show you NVMe drives.
See KB 63226: Acronis True Image 2020: how to create bootable media and KB 59877: Acronis True Image: how to distinguish between UEFI and Legacy BIOS boot modes of Acronis Bootable Media
I would like to know if the advanced ISO allows you to create backup files that can be used on completely different computers.

The Acronis Rescue Media (Simple or Advanced) will work on other computers and allow operations to be performed, i.e. Backup or Recovery etc. So could be used to restore files to a different laptop or desktop PC.
Migrating Windows to another computer is more complex than just restoring your backup from the laptop to a different computer, as there are licensing / activation considerations, as well as dealing with differences in hardware components.
Please see KB 19296: Acronis products cannot be used to transfer applications to different system or upgrade OS

I solved, you have to download WinPE version 2004:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/get-started/adk-install
However, it is too inconvenient every time to install Acronis, download WinPE and create the pen drive. The ISO I created in 2016 I used it until 2020 without problems and without ever downloading external libraries. From 2020 onwards, too much time is wasted on creating ISO.
I'd like to understand more about Acronis Universal Restore. With this software can I create a Backup file that can be used on any computer? After making a Restore the operating system automatically searches the internet for the license and drivers of the devices as in a normal installation of Windows 10?

Giampiero, you didn't need to download and install the Windows 10 #2004 ADK & PE components - the Simple method of building the rescue media will create working WinPE media.
Acronis Universal Restore (AUR) is not normally needed when migrating Windows 10 from an Acronis backup image to a different computer provided there are reasonable similarities in the hardware being used. Windows 10 is able to find new hardware and identify device drives that may be needed much better than previous versions of Windows.
AUR does not search the internet for any licenses required and can only find drivers that are included in the AUR media when it is created or available on other media present.

I made many attempts and the only method that was successful was the one that saw the implementation of these programs:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/get-started/adk-insta…
The simple ISOs on my notebook don't work.
