Recovery-says "No Data to Recover Yet"

Thread solved

Wanted to recover a file.  I opened Acronis True Image 2020 and had my external hard drive plugged in.  I see the created .tibx file that was created from an incremental backup on Jan. 22, 2022.  I looked at the history of this backup and the FULL backup was done successfully on Jan. 1st and it was validated.  I also show incremental successful backups and validation on Jan. 8, 15 & this last one on the 22nd.

But when I clik on the Recovery tab, it says No Data to Recover Yet.

What is going on?

Previous to doing this Full backup on Jan. 1st,  I had deleted the entire external hard drive to free up spaces.  Perhaps by doing this incorrectly, is causing this issue?  I am not sure.  I saw now in a knowledge based article, that I should have cliked on a tab to Clean Up Versions.  (BTW where is this Clean Up Versions tab for future deletions to free up space?)

Frederic, this is a known issue that should be able to be resolved via doing one or both of the following actions.

Run a validation for the backup task.

Use the 'Add existing backup' option (hidden below the caret 'v' near + Add backup) and select the latest missing .tibx file.

Nice to hear from you Steve, as always!  Will give your suggestion a try and keep you posted!

Thank you again!
