Strange 'problem' with Backup and W10 V2004 it seems.
Could NOT post here using Firefox, it seems IE works?

OK, wife's PC, HUGE back-up, usually takes more than 12 hours... sometime 14 or more. Don't ask...
First time doing under the new Windows version. She normally checks the Shutdown when completed box. Today, PC still on and ATI 2020 says less than 1 minute to go?
Checked her email, got this one first and then 4 dup's:
First one:

Since she 'woke up' the PC and saw these, I looked around. Disk is fine and can be accessed. About 15 minutes later, it FINISHED! Here is the e-mail:

Really ODD... and she was complaining yesterday that it took almost 4 hours CALCULATING the size, and her PC was slow. I did NOTHING to the PC other than open the disk with Explorer?
No changes (that I made or are aware of) to the Power Settings? Display off after 20 minutes of inactivity and disk off 30 minutes after no activity.
Suggestion? I have a program that 'keeps the PC active' that I use for large downloads, should I run something like that? However never needed to before?

Steve, same conclusion I basically came to?
The backup drive is a WD External. No light visible on it so I don't know if it was on or off?
I decided to look in Device Manager. All USB ports have the 'save power' option off?
You might recall we had problems before where ATI couldn't find the drive to start as I had moved ports? I had to put it back in the original port to have ATI work. The move was because I ran out of ports and bought a 4 port hub.
With that tidbit, I'm wondering if we 'hit' a timing issue? Only once the PC came back on and its hard disks started up was ATI 'woken up' too and completed?
Beyond me...
