Upgrade to True Image 2020

Thread needs solution

Upgraded from TI 2016 to 2020. Installed 2020 but it wouldn't let me use my new 1TB SSD as backup drive. Uninstalled 2020 and reinstalled and it let me use my new SSD. Now it wants me tp pay 60 bucks for 2020. I think I'll just go back to 2016 which I own. Is there any downside to continuing to use 2016?

There are a few new features introduced since the last build of ATI 2016. Your decision will involve considering if those features are worth the outlay. ActiveProtection (anti-malware), the improved recovery media, and some bug fixes.

You do not say what version and build of Windows you are using.

According to the release notes, when you upgrade to 2020 for versions earlier than 2018, you should uninstall the old version first - did you do that?
