Using Norton 360 VPN

Thread needs solution

Hi,

I'm using Norton 360 VPN on my Laptop.
Since then Trie Image can't connect to the internal NAS-Server where True Image stores all backup.
Which files must be excludes from the VPN to connect to the NAS again?

Thanks.

Beste regards
Norbert

Norbert, I have never used Norton 360 VPN - my own VPN is from a completely different company and has no impact on any of my local network connections to my NAS.

The VPN should only be applying to your Internet connections, not to the local network but you will need to look at the configuration options provided by Norton as to how to achieve this!

I have only used it on my iPad - I uninstalled it within days as it was causing all sorts of issues. And, as far I could work out, was not particularly good. I suggest getting rid of it and getting another solution.

Although Norton Secure VPN does not have the best reputation online, I wanted to find out if the quality of the service matches its low price. I was interested to see what this VPN offers compared to its competitors, who have cheap subscription plans and advanced features. To do this, I tested the service's work with streaming platforms, the speed of its servers, security and privacy tools, torrent support, online gaming, and the overall user experience. Unfortunately, the quality of the video and the speed of the service disappointed me, and the privacy policy caused some concerns. That's why I started using addons on the platform , which allow you to connect to various sources.

Hello, Norbert. When installing VPN, you give it access to your system. I think you should open your Network Adapters and exclude the VPN from the list. First, remove Norton 360 VPN from Programs and Features.
