Viewing Backup Files in Windows 10 File Explorer
I did a fresh install of Windows 10 and now I cannot review my True Image backup files in Windows File Explorer. When I click on a tib file it tries to open in Internet Explorer. Will not allow my to re-associate the tib file with another option.

I don't see any set file association in Windows 10 settings Default Apps >> Choose Default Apps By File Type for .tib or .tibx on my machine (where it works) and don't remember them being set in previous versions either. My understanding is that Acronis handles this during installation and somehow deals with it in the application.
I'm assuming True Image was installed after the fresh installation, but can you verify that, because you'll need to have a working version of True Image again after your fresh install? If so, I'd recommend re-running the True Image 2020 installer file and be sure to right-click and "run as administrator", even if you're logged in with an admin account to ensure full admin privileges which are not granted unless you use this method. When prompted if you want to uninstall or repair, then do a repair installation... reboot after that to let the registry changes apply and then log back in and see if you double click and navigate Acronis backup files in Windows Explorer again (making sure you're doing this with an admin account too).
You may also want to ensure the desired backup is available in the True Image application on the left side panel. If not, use the "add existing backup" backup option and import the backup file into the True Image console and see if you can then navigate it in explorer correctly.

On my fresh W10 installation, opening .tif with the explorer used to work perfectly. Then ATI failed to add another file (other files disappeared from the list). Afterwards the .tib files cannot be opened anymore. I repaired (no better) then updated to ATI2021 (still no better). I can restore files from the .tib and even make a .vhd from it, thus it is OK. But opening with the explorer is no more possible.Sad, urgent solution needed ...
