From Win7 to Win10: upgrading Acronis or buying new one?

Thread needs solution

Hi, I will be upgrading to Windows-10 in the next few days. I intend to do a full clean install. I have Acronis True Image 2017 and want to go to Acronis to the 2020 version but do not know if I do an upgrade or buy a new one. Also I do not even remember if I already have a subscription.

What should I do?

Also, I prefer having a DVD version of True Image.

If you do a clean install of Windows 10, then you can use either the current ATI 2017 software or else purchase an upgrade for ATI 2020.

When installing ATI 2020, if this is an upgrade edition, you will be asked to provide the license keys for both 2020 and 2017 during the install process.

If you are unsure as to your license type, sign in to your Acronis Account at the main Acronis.com website and look at the list of your registered products, which should tell you.

You can create new Acronis Rescue Media using the tool for this provided when you install the application, or else you can download an ISO disc image from your Acronis Account pages and burn this to a DVD to use.
