Hans, welcome to these public User Forums.

Sorry but not possible to know why there may be boot problems for this scenario with just the minimal information offered?

How was the restore performed here?  Was this from within Windows 10 or did you boot the PC from Acronis Rescue Media?

If using rescue media, which type of media was used?

For the ATI 2018 & later version rescue media, there are 3 different versions available:
Simple:  created based on your Windows Recovery Environment for WinPE media.
Advanced: created based on Windows ADK (or AIK for earlier OS versions) - WinPE media.
Advanced: created based on a small Linux distro OS (BusyBox) or created from the .ISO CD image download from your Acronis Account page.

What BIOS boot mode is used on this dual-boot PC system?  Is this Legacy / MBR boot or is it UEFI / GPT boot?

If using rescue media, was this booted using the same BIOS boot mode?

What type of restore was performed?  Did you restore a whole disk with all partitions, or just one or more selected partitions?

Hello,

I have made the backup windows 10/Ubuntu sometimes ago, I thing with acronis 2020a(first update of acronis2020).

On restore only ubuntu was running but windows is not a directory as before. I can select windows from ubuntu menu but than "NTLDR is missing"  appeared on desktop.  Searching on internet shows many messages, that only ubuntu or windows 10 is running but not by choice.  Because Windows 10 1909 is more important than ubuntu I choose windows 10: Bad UUID and grub. I cannot handle good grub. I can give the command ls and some informations is printed.

I have made the restore by acronis 2021b windows-CD(other computer).

Regards,

Hans

Hans, are Ubuntu and Windows 10 both installed on the same physical disk drive in different partitions?

Which bootloader was being used to launch either OS?  Were you using Grub2 or using Windows Boot Manager?

Is this a Legacy / MBR system, or is it a UEFI / GPT one?
