Bill, is this a duplicate of your topic: Recovery of cisk hangs after reboot. Any suggestions/?

Yes the same problem, I have downloaded the latest version of ATI just in case my first download was corrupted. I have used the rescue disk but get the same result of the computer stalling after reboot. I've saved backup to NVMe and SATA HDD, backing up no problem but no luck with recovery. I used default setting for ATI 2021.

Sorry but a lot more information is needed here.

What type of PC is involved?  Desktop / Tower PC or Laptop / notebook PC?

What Windows OS version?  10 / 8.1 / 7 / Vista / XP ?

What version of ATI ?  Is it ATI 2021 build 35860 as per this forum or an earlier one?

What are you trying to recover and how are you trying to do this?

Any recovery of the Windows OS disk should be performed after booting from the 'Simple' version of the Acronis Rescue Media which will boot into a Windows PE environment created from your PC that includes device drivers etc that are needed.
Starting such a disk recovery from within Windows will boot into a temporary Linux based environment which lacks support for some types of drives and connection methods.
