Error on recovery, "Cannot Recover the Selected Partition"
Currently using True Image 2021 and trying to recover the system partition via the OS Gui and i get the "Cannot Recover the Selected Partition" as soon as I highlight the destination drive. I get no such issues with any other partition, just the system drive to which the back was made of.
I have created a new backup just encase of a corrupted image and also attempting recovery via the Rescue Media with little success. I reverted to Acronis 2016, created a new image again.. and had no issues. The issue only returns once I reinstall (not upgrade) to Acronis 2021.
Thanks in advance for any advice.
Image uploaded is of the newly created image just after reinstalling 2021.

Thanks for the response, initially it was on the NAS, the new image i created was on a seperate SSD drive. I havent had issues before but found it interesting that Acronis 2016 had no such problems when i replicated the testing by creating a new image on the NAS and on the SSD.
I forgot to mention I also tried to drive recovery option rather than the partition using the Rescue Media with both the original image (moved to SSD) and the newly created image. Only thing I can think of is the partition has developed an issue, did a disk scan which show no issues.
Over the weekend I will format the drive and see if i can recover the entire disk with a much earlier backup. The System partition is on an NVME which i have created a secondary partition on and see if that sorts it out.
Also wondering are there any logs that i can check with Acronis to see if any more details to the error message?

I don't think that there will be any logs prior to actually attempting to perform the recovery operation. With any recovery of the OS partition, this will involve either using rescue media or doing a Windows restart into a temporary Linux environment to actually perform the recovery, so the logs would need to be captured while still in that environment by clicking on the Logs menu option and then right-clicking on the actual log and saving it to a non-volatile location.
