Invalid Map - error
Since I switched to ATI 2021 I get the following errors: 0x00AC0041 + 0x00550011
I can't find any information about this. According to ATI2021 the backup is valid but when I try to update the options of the backup I get the message that the folder is not valid. How can I solve this and is the backup still valid? I have seen this problem before. Please help.

Type of backups: disk backups (5 different ones).
The logs do not indicate errors. However, if I want to adjust the options, I get a message for all 5 that the folder is invalid.
I suspect the error is due to the backup jobs still created in ATI 2020.
Because I have deleted and recreated all backup jobs in ATI 2021 and then the error no longer occurs. I think normally, the latest version of ATI should still be able to handle the older version, provided they are not too different. Now all this was not a disaster for me because I also make backups with EaseUS Todo Backup Home and I have never had any problems with that.
I"m using ATI since v 7. Since ATI 2018 I have problems with every new version.
For now, the problem is solved by recreating the backup jobs.

Thanks for the update and further information. I am glad to read that creating new backup tasks has resolved the immediate issue here.
I have upgraded various systems from ATI 2020 to 2021 without seeing this type of issue for tasks brought forward from earlier versions.

Same problem again a few days ago. After the update to a newer version, all backup tasks were reset and new backups were made. Then everything worked again, until this morning. Same problem again (options no longer available, invalid folder ...). Then I got a message that a new version was available (already the 3rd since I installed ATI2021). I just wanted to recreate the backup jobs but thought to update to the latest version first. Now the backups turned out to be usable again and the options accessible. However, I think I have to note that with every new version of ATI reliability deteriorates significantly. Hopefully the backup sets will finally remain reliable.

From the pattern shown for this problem, it suggests to me that something is causing either the backup configuration or the application to become corrupted after a period of time?
Are you using overclocking on this computer?

Shady,
Have you always upgraded the product over the years rather than performing an clean install of the app by first uninstalling the previous version?
Have you ever had the product installed on a drive other than the C: drive on your PC?
If the answer to either of these questions is yes then you might fix the problem by uninstalling the product using the Windows uninstaller feature then, run the cleanup tool listed in Steve's signature field then finally, install the product again clean.

@Steve Smith
No, I never use overclocking. I would rather buy a more expensive PC than overclock.
@Enchantech
If errors keep popping up, I always do a completely new installation.
I always install applications (including ATI) on the default drive, C: so. I only install games on another drive.
This evening the error came back. When I shut down the pc this afternoon ATI was working fine, checked this several times. This time I used the repair function from the setup file and again the problem was solved but I don't know for how long. Maybe the cleanup function from windows is causing this but I'm not sure of this, I'll keep an eye on this.
Update :
The cause of the problem found namely certain settings of "WiseCare 365". This deleted a number of registry keys that referred to ATI. After excluding these, ATI will continue to function.
So solved for the time being.

The main cause of the problem seemed to be 2 shared dll's which wise care deleted. Afert excluding them the problem disappeared.
Strange: after a clean reinstall from ATI these 2 shared dll's are no longer visable or even not there. My 2 laptops also don't have these 2 dll's.

Any registry cleaner application needs to be treated with great care and a backup made of registry entries before these are deleted. I found a similar issue when using CCleaner but fortunately had used the option to backup the entries before any were deleted!
Shared DLL's can get left over from older versions of any software so reinstalling a clean version of the latest product version is a good solution.

It's working correct now for a while since I reinstalled ATI 2021 new again. Strange, WiseCleaner does not mentioned the sharred dll's anymore (my laptops never showed them). They all use the same tools. Anyway, it seems to work now. Thanks for the help. Greetings.
