Software that doesn't conflict with Acronis
Hi
I am working for a client that heavily uses Acronis to back up the different workstations and local file server.
However, since Acronis backs up the machines to a proprietary large file, they did have an instance when they tried to restore, that file was "corrupt" and the back up was deemed "unrecoverable". Thankfully we were able to get the needed file from another machine.
We are looking for a way to backup data as "raw", where the files and folders are copied as they are to another location. This way we are assured we can restore the files in case of disaster recovery. We plan to still use Acronis to backup the system recovery state but all the files would be using that software.
We are looking for a software that would do the following:
1) Run on a set schedule.
2) We do not need to be logged in for it to run (prefer run as a service).
3) Copy the files and folders as they are, not in a large proprietary file format.
4) Support long path.
5) Easy to use.
6) Not conflict with Acronis.
Would love to hear someone is using the software, please do not send me a link to different applications. There are plenty but I would love to hear from someone that has used similar software and able to do it.

Hello Flori!
You didn't mention wihch version of Acronis is used, or what sort of file was corrupt. i.e. a database file would be of special interest.
Cyber Protect can do both Raw (sector-by-sector) disk backups and file backups. Validation can add another layer of trust in the backup.
Though If you have a few key files you can check easily, I'd add the practice of semi-regularly checking it by actually restoring, regardless of the backup method or software being used.

Thanks Enchantech, SyncToy looks good and also I am checking some tools recommended by my colleagues, they recommend Syncback, Gs Richcopy 360, and Carbonite.
I see tons of similar tools are there, this makes me accurate to find the ideal one
Thank you again and I will feed u back soon

Hi Dears, Thanks for your support, my problem has been solved and I am here now to share my experience,
Gs Richcopy 360 did the job very well and didn't conflict with Acronis, this means that I have now the below features :
1) Run on a set schedule.
2) We do not need to be logged in for it to run (prefer run as a service).
3) Copy the files and folders as they are, not in a large proprietary file format.
4) Support a long path.
5) Easy to use.
I am a kind of lucky man
