Acronis OEM Build 10045 - Dell Reboot Problem

Thread needs solution

I am using Acronis OEM Build 10045 on a Dell Optiplex 780 with Win7. When I try to boot from the Acronis CD it flashes a quick message and says restarting or rebooting.

Is there a later build which addresses this? This articale indicates there may be:

Is the an OEM build update? I don't see anything under my account for an update to it.

Thank you for finding time to report about the issue, we really appreciate it.

This issue's really fixed by the newest media with the latest drivers and updated kernel. Since you're using OEM version, you need to contact your vendor's support for the updated media: OEM versions differs from the full ones, and all the updates and fixes for it are provided by the OEM vendor.

Please note that this solution applies only for

  • Acronis True Image Home 2010
  • Acronis Backup & Recovery 10 (All Editions)

All the previous versions are outdated: they are not supported, developed and updated anymore, - thus we cannot guarantee that they will work on the modern hardware, and in case they doesn't - we will not be able to help you.
