No NIC drivers for DELL M4500 in boot CD

Thread needs solution

Hi,
we have some DELL notebooks with a Intel 82577LM NIC. When I boot the system with the True Image Echo Workstation rescue cd no NIC is present. So I have no chance to make a image over the network.
We use build 8398 from True Image Workstation.

How can I fix this problem with the NIC?

Many thanks.

 Hello Hans-Juergen Bulst!

Thank you for finding time to join us on Forum and report about the issue! I understand your concern and will be glad to help you!

The issue is caused by the lack of drivers on the bootable media you're using. This can be easily resolved by downloading the updated bootable media straight from your account. Please burn it onto the CD and test whether it sees your NIC.

Should the issue be present, please send me a Private Message, and I will send you an alternative media built on another loader, which may help to solve the issue as well.

Should you need anything else or have any further questions - feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience, we will be happy to help you!

Thank you!

No newer bootable media build from our version is available in our account.

 Hi Hans!

I'm very sorry for the confusion.

The media's build will match the one that you already have since it's the latest one. But we still update the bootable components and reload the ISO twice a month, so it's constantly modified and still mau help to resolve the issue.

Let me know in case there's anything else that confuses you!

Thank you!

Hi Yana,

I have some Dell M4500 Precisions that I'd like to test Snap Deploy 3 on, but it doesn't seem to have NIC drivers for them. Because it's the trial version, I cannot access the latest downloadable ISO. Can you help me with this?

Cheers,
Liam
