Problem with TI Echo Workstation v9.5

Thread needs solution

My client has been using Acronis TI Echo Workstation v9.5 for a year or more without any problems. Recently we did a clean install on his windows XP pro computer and re-installed Acronis TI Echo Workstation v9.5.
We tried to make an image of the clean install to a 2.0tb USB hard drive and to a system installed E:\ drive on the computer. Both times when we reached the "source files exculsion" , checking NOTHING and then pressing the 'NEXT" button the program appeared to freeze and didn't do anything. However, after waiting about three minutes the program started again and showed the 'backup archive location' screen.

This is the first time i've seen Acronis TI echo workstaion take this long to change screens.

However, other times after clicking the 'next' button on the 'Source files Exclusion" window the program freezes and when you view the Windows Task manager - applications - you see Acronis TI Echo Workstation "NOT RESPONDING". Then you have to stop the process and close the program without creating an image.

If the program doesn't freeze The Image Backup was created correctly, but IS there sometime wrong? AND, it the program freezes, you can't create the image. I've never seen this happen before.

What am I doing wrong. I've been using Acronis True Image Echo Workstation on various Windows XP Professional computers for the last few years and NEVER seen this problem before. What am I doing Wrong?

Does XP have all of it's service packs installed?

When you installed XP again was there any newversions or new software installed alonside?

Is the video card driver upto date? As strange as it may seem, these drivers have caused problems with other Acronis products.
