I'm pretty sure I'm hosed here but....
Win7 x64
TI2010
Running Non Stop Backup on Drives C & D with NSB storage on E.
It started when drive C had some issues and I was forced to restore. Unfortunately, my only system restore was almost 2 months old. I thought I was OK since I had NSB turned on. After restoring my 2 month old backup, I tried to use the "recovery with time explorer" but every time it tries to read the contents of the "Time Explorer Storage" folder, I get the following error
Cannot Read from Storage
0x00D60007+0x000003E9+0x001703EE
If I rename the folder ( just add .old to the end of the folder ) and restart NSB, it seems to run just fine. I'm really hoping someone has a way of reading the meta data or cpd.data files within the Time Explorer Storage folder. I would really like to recover my data.
I've tried recovery using TI2010 v6052 & v7046. No Go. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks for the reply MudCrab.
The drive has two partitions ( System Reserved & C: ). I fairly certain I restored the drive and not the individual partitions. Maybe I can try again to make sure.
I just tried the TI CD and it looks like the CD doesn't support recovery of the NSB info - only TIB's. If I'm wrong, someone please correct me and instruct me how to do so.
I also tried to rename the cpd.metadata file and upon restarting NSB, it created a new on and started to backup the drive ( allowing NSB to load and even showing me the dir tree ). I'm guessing that my original metadata file is corrupt. The question at this point is why. I was really counting on using this feature. It looks like I've lost my data and will have to come up with a different method to protect my data in the future.
I wonder if Acronis has some way to "re-catalog" the .data files to generate a new metadata file ( kind of like Symantec/Veritas Backup Exec. )?
Thanks again for the reply - helped me think of a few other possible issues ( SATA Controller drivers ).

Brian,
When I tested this yesterday, I could access the NSB data from the TI CD. It was displayed for selection (it was found automatically).
My guess is that you're correct and something is corrupted on your system. Hopefully, Acronis will post in the thread with something helpful.
Does it make any difference if you try a normal restore from the NSB instead of using the Time Explorer?
Do you know if the NSB data was intact before you restored your C: drive?

Thanks again. I appreciate the time you have spent helping me out.
Interesting on the TI CD. The "auto find" will detect backups ( TIB's ) from multiple external drives and my one internal drive but nothing related to the NSB.
In all honesty, I don't know if the NSB data was good before I restored. In hindsight, I should have browsed ( or tried to browse ) the storage before wiping everything out. I assumed it would be good ( you know what they say about assuming... ) but coulda, woulda, shoulda.......
I will continue to play with it but at this point, unless Acronis has something to add, I've already played the trumpet for my data.
