2010>2009??
Forget about new features.. Is 2010 better than 2009?
Will the scheduler automatically delete old images?

Does that online backup do a complete image of RAID 0?

I agree with mogulman.
New features are fun but what about the basics. Typically, upgrading TI was essential to keep up with new OS versions and disk interfaces. Windows 7 support seems to be the most compelling feature of TI 2010.
Continuous backup seem like overkill. Backup every 5 min.??? Most applications do autosave to take care of this.
VHD sounds interesting but not essential.
I purchased 2009 Home just before 2010 was released so they gave me the upgrade. I'm looking for some compelling reason to install 2010 over 2009. (not planning to switch to Windows 7 any time soon)
Any thoughts/experiences?

I have never got OLB to perform every 5 minutes, only once per day per boot. I suspect that what Acronis actually mean is that it checks the drive every 5 minutes for new sectors changed or used and if found performs a backup.

What the hell difference is between 2011 and 2009

IMO:
With ATI in recent years, it's been a safe assumption that the newer version is worse than the old. At least wait until some of the the more commonly reported bugs in ATI 13/2010 are fixed before stepping off. Unless you are currently using a version that presents some probs that you think the new one specifically addresses. Otherwise, if what you have works, sit tight.

Recently I upgraded to TI 2010 from 2009 and then found that most times when I tried to perform a backup to the Safe Zone, I got an error message that TI could not access the Safe Zone. What I am currently doing is to backup to an NTFS partition and then Move the image to the Safe Zone.
I then uninstalled TI 2010 and also ran the Acronis Clean Up Utility, but TI 2009 refuses to install because it detects portions of a later version of TI which are still present on my system. So I was forced to perform a restore to my system disk and I am now stuck with a flawed version of TI 2010.
I am using 64-bit Business Vista SP2.
