2012 WinPE ISO Builder

Thread needs solution

Has the 2012 PP WinPE ISO Builder proven to be fully compatible with Windows7 x64 and UEIF boot hard disks? I could not find a definite answer in the docs.

WinPE bootable disk will not boot in UEFI mode because it's 32-bit. But it supports GPT disks (=UEIF boot hard disks).

Thanks for the reply. So the 2012 PP WinPE ISO Builder is just like the 2011 version; still x86 only and can't work on a x64 machine?

Just read the Plus Pack page again and it does clearly state that it, PP, is x64 ready so I assume this would include the ISO Builder but dev-anon you are saying this is not the case?

You can produce your WinPE-based disk on a x64 or x86 machine. The code that will be put on the disk is x86 but of course you can use it on a machine on which you run an x64 OS (just like you can run a x86 or a x64-based OS on the same machine).
