2013 Ver does not see my hardrives

Thread needs solution

I am using the newest update of 2013. I created a bootable USB. Upon boot, True Image only see my removable backup USB drive (not drive C or D).   My computer is a Lenovo Ideapad Flex 15 with an SSD that is partitioned with 77GB C drive and 25GB D drive.  I am running WIN 10.

Since 2013 is suppose to be compatible with SSDs, I suspect ver 2016 will have the same problem. Before locking in on some other backup software I wanted to ask the community for their opinion.

Thanks,   TKK

2013 does not support Windows 10.

Consider trying the 2016 trial version before you consider purchasing.

If needed, 2016 will also provide an option to create a WinPE TI Recovery disk as well.

Thanks.  However, in my case  I am booting from a Acronis Boot USB.  Therefore, Acronis never sees the operating system.

Try using a different usb connector.  If using USB3, try USB2 , etc or vice versa.

GPT support was introduced in True Image 2013. The rescue media created by the final build of 2013 can't see GPT disks.  Instead of releasing a new fully functional build for 2013, Acronis made an updated ISO file available to download under your Acronis account.  This ISO file must be burned to a CD in order to boot in UEFI mode.  There is no way to use this file to create a USB rescue media that is capable of booting with UEFI and secure boot.

If your disk fails, there is no way to restore GPT partitions to a new disk in the correct order using only True Image(2013, 2014, 2015, or 2016).  The disk has to be prepared with diskpart before performing a partition mode recovery with True Image.

Thanks much.   This looks painful.   What I know is that HD eventually die.  So I printed this info out with the disk partition map so that I have a fighting chance.
