Access denied for mounted image

I mounted the image of a drive from computer "A" on a second computer ("B"). When I try to open one of the user folders I get an error message that I don't have the necessary permissions to access the folder. Computer A had the Vista OS, Computer B is running Windows 7 Pro. How do I access these files?
