Accomplishing some kind of automated or remote recovery

Thread needs solution

I only have TIH 2013 available.

I imagine I am hosed since I haven't been able to find a solution. However, I'm taking the chance that someone here might know something I haven't been able to find.

I have 8 PCs disconnected from monitor and keyboard which I control via VNC. For reasons I don't want to debate, it is virtually impossible for me to get a monitor hooked up to them though I CAN plug a keyboard into a USB port on the front. I have an image located on a central server which I would like to restore to all these machines.

Ideal solution: (seems unlikely)

Some way to create anew Acronis boot CD / DVD which can connect to and restore this image to the C drive without user interaction.

Secondary hope:

Someone knows how to create a bootable CD/USB which can provide a VNC access to a running TIH. If there is a way to make a live Linux boot media, If so, I would appreciate pointers to a little extra help as I don't know good sources for Linux software such as the VNC which would be necessary and a little help getting TIH started via the boot process.

Thx in advance

John, welcome to these User Forums.

Any Acronis recovery operation is going to require that you are able to operate the computer being recovered in order to work through the recovery menu options, so this in turn requires that you can see the offline desktop panels on a monitor connected to the computer, plus can operate a mouse & keyboard.

There is no unattended method of doing this type of recovery using ATI 2013 (or any other version of the same product), recovery always requires user interaction.

I assumed that which is why I proposed the second possibility. Can anyone please help with that.

Sorry, I am not aware of any method of doing what your second option was suggesting.
