Acronis 2012 Hangs up when I try to save a Bootable ISO image

Thread needs solution

I want to create a bootable image on a USB thumb drive. I select the Thumb drive and files are copied but it doesn't boot up when I put it in the computer I'm trying to clone. The CD will boot up (actually only 2009 will boot - I get a kernel error when booting up with 2012). So I tried to save the ISO image and then when I try to select the directory where to put the ISO image the computer gives me the old An error occured and send the error to microsoft. I've attached a pdf of the screen shots.

Plus my support seems to have ended even though I just upgraded to 2012 two months ago - and really haven't had much luck with it yet and am still using 2009.

You have multiple issues, each of which requires separate consideration: failure to boot an ISO image on a USB drive; error on booting with a CD disc; failure to save an ISO file where you want to put it.

To start with the first one first, how are you trying to boot the ISO on the USB drive? Are you using Grub4DOS or some other boot loader?
