Acronis 2014: Reverting to Microsoft VSS instead of Acronis VSS

I was actually quite surprised that Acronis disabled Microsoft VSS.

Using Acronis VSS is slow. I'd like to go back to using Microsoft VSS instead for finding previous versions of files. How can I do this?
