Acronis 2014 Trying to consolidate deleted backups

Thread needs solution

I am having a maddening problems with Acronis True Image 2014 that I can't seem to fix. I recently had to delete an old backup and recreate it for my system disk (C drive). I used tge True Image interface to delete the old backup, created a new one, set up the consolidation parameters, and ran a full backup. Now, every time I run an incremental backup it complains that it is missing incremental images from the deleted backup. I ever tried deleting the backup and creating one with an entirely new name (for the drive) and still when an incremental backup is performed it complains about missing images from the old backup (under the old name) despite that I have deleted this old backup. The program is obviously using retained information from somewhere, but can't seem to find this retained data or reset it. Can anyone help with this?

Try - delete the task and then remove all the task listings, close TI down, reopen and then ask it to search for archives so it repopulates the task list.

If that fails, could you please post a screen shot of your actual archive(s) on disk and the task listing in TI itself.

I kept digging and I was finally able to solve the problem by deleting the Archives.xml file and letting True Image create a new one. Thanks for the response and offer of help. I truly appreciate it.

This worked perfectly for me. I wonder how this consolodation started happening anyways. I never consolodate
