Acronis 2015 compatibility with ASRock Z77 Extreme 4 mother board
Here following my experience with Acronis Image software.
I was going to send the MOBO Asus P8Z77-VPRO for repairing, so I had the necessity to transfer a Windows 7 64 bit installation on another computer with MoBo ASRock Z77 Extreme 4 using the repair disk of Acronis 2015 build 6525.
At the end it was not possible to transfer the image or to clone the disk because i got always a black screen after the visualization of the sentence "loading plase wait".
I had this problem both with Acronis 2015 and Acronis Universal Restore.
At february 2015 I informed Acronis support team about the problem (ticket number 02384172);
I managed to transfer the image on the MoBo AsusRock only using an early version of Acronis.
After having removed the installation on the MoBo Asus, installed Acronis 2015 on the Asrock and transfered the licence I created the new recover disk; but also with this new recover disk I got a black screen after the visualization of the sentence "loading plase wait".
However the transfered Windows 7 64bit didn't operate correctly and presented different problems.
At March 2015 Asus gave back to me the MoBo P8Z77-VPRO and with the Acronis 2015 build 6525 recover disk, I got the original Windows 7 64 bit so far correctly operating, even though Acronis 2015 was never installed over.
On a computer with MoBo Asrock I proceeded by formatting and installing Windows 7 32 bit.
I underline that Acronis, at the moment, is installed neither on computer with Asus nor on computer with AsRock.
In september I saw on internet that a new version of Acronis was available; so i decided to install this new version on the computer with Asus P8Z77-VPRO. Later I activated also the product and created the recover disk.
Last I tried again the recover disk on the computer with Asrock and again i got a black screen after the visualization of the sentence "loading plase wait".
I tested also the recover disk on the computer with Asus P8Z77-VPRO; it operated but soon I received the information that it's not possible to perform operations because it is a trial version or too many activations.
After having unistalled Acronis 2015, being available Acronis 2016, I tried the same in trial version, I created the recover disk and soon checking the same on the computer with Asrock but I got again the same problem of black screen.
After all these negative experiences I have a crucial question: is Acronis compatible with the ASRock Z77 Extreme 4? There's any solution to solve the indicated problem?
If in future I have a problem with the Asus P8Z77-VPRO, which are the others Mother Boards, with Chipset Z77, declared compatible with Acronis?
