Acronis is doing "Cloning" and it never ends... why?

Thread needs solution

Hi there,

for some reason, Acronis is stuck at "cloning", whatever that is.
I can't find anything in the settings about that.
It's regular Incremental backups with cleanup.
I've never seen this before.
Will attach pics.
It starts at like 7 hours, and then 12, 1 day, 3 days, and now it's up to 36 days...
I backup to a 2 different NAS, one of them behaves like this.

And now I have the exact same problem with a disk backup to antoher internal disk... this must be a bug?!?

Hello Andreas,

Thank you for posting.

Cloning means, that you can clone the content of one drive to another. Might be, you choose this tool inside Acronis True Image Home.

First check, if you are using the latest build. How to do that, you can find in this article of our Knowledge Base. If your build number is below build 7133, then I suggest to update first. How to find the download, you will find in this article of our Knowledge Base.

General Information about cloning, you will find in Online Help.

Regarding to your Screenshot 218, I suggest to click on Cancel, in order to stop this action. After stopping this action, you should be able to run your backups as before.

Please let me know if you have additional questions.

Thank you.
