Acronis freezes at "Welcome to True Image" page
I'm using TI 2013 Build 6514. I have a disk image saved on my D: drive and I'm trying to restore it onto the C: drive.
Acronis Loader loads and gets all the way to the "Welcome to True Image. What would you like to do?" page. At this point everything freezes. I try to click or hit Enter on Recover but neither the mouse nor the keyboard works at this point. Both the keyboard and the mouse work on the earlier screen so I don't know what happens in between. I've tried both a bootable CD and a bootable USB and I get the same result. Please help. Thanks.

It is a Logitech wireless keyboard/mouse combo. The OS is Win XP 32 bit.
I just tried something that worked. I installed a keyboard and a mouse that use PS/2 connectors. I started Acronis Loader again and this time both the mouse and keyboard worked on the "Welcome to True Image" page. I'm finally able to restore the image. It's still an issue that my USB devices didn't work but I guess I know what to do now. Thanks anyway.

It's a known issue with many wireless mice and keyboards that we hope will be fixed in the next build. You discovered the current workaround. :)

is there a fix for this yet? using acronis True Image 2013 and created a bootable recovery disk using winpe ISO builder and the keyboard and mouse both are unusable. Logictech wireless keyboard and mouse. windows 8 64. I just hate to have to keep a wired keyboard or mouse to solve this.

Try newly downloading the Rescue Media ISO from your Acronis.com account. The web site lists it as the same build number as previously, but is actually newer build 6528. It fixes the wireless keyboard/mouse issue and the GPT disk issue.
