Acronis Home 2010 insisting on password for UNC on Win7
I'm attempting to backup a Win7 machine using Acronis 2010. I am attempting to back it up to a machine that runs SAMBA to a directory and acocunt that has NO password and requires NO credentials of any kind. Acronis warns that my credentials are invalid and refuses to run the task, the error message indicates a credentials issue. When I edit the task I find that my machine name and user account has been added to the credentials dialog.
I have two different servers each running different versions of SAMBA in this configuration (unRAID). In the past on Vista 64 using Acronis 2009 I had no issues with this. I can setup user security on my target server but would really prefer NOT to. I believe that Acronis is attempting to offer credentials, my machine name and userID, when accessing this resource and I believe this is not what I desire. I am using UNC naming to access the reosurce if that matters, it's NOT a mounted drive letter nor do I wish it to be... \\servername\share\folder\ is the format.
Is this a quirk of Win7 or the new version of Acronis? I'm pretty sure it's not my server, I'm able to access the shares at will using Explorer. I upgraded specifically to get claimed Win7 support and so far cannot back up my system.
Update: If I run this task manually it appears to run FINE! Can something be done to solve this for sceduled backups please?
P.S. Is it really truly necessary that our full registered user names be displayed here by default??!

Fired up my Vista 64 install with Acronis 2K9, ran the automated backup to the SAME server, SAME share, flawlessly. The automated backup fails over and over and over with an error indicating bad authentication. I can access those shares with no prompting, no credentials, no problems. This ought to be pretty easy if every other program can do it. Is there something special about this being scheduled that's an issue or is it the Acronis insistence on slapping user credntials in the dialog when I save that's doing this?? I'd like an automated backup solution that works please....

Might be worth checking what permissions and users 2010 has given/attached to itself.
I'd check scheduler2 in Services first, as it is just scheduled taks that refuse to run.
