Amen to that. The first version of Acronis I used had no problems working. It was rock solid. So solid in fact, I convinced people at work to use it for backing up critical lab data. The next version of the software seemed a lot less "thought out" and a little buggy. Then came True Image 11. This to me was an obvious attempt to push features in the program to compete with other backup software manufacturers and not an effort to make the software any better. I can only say it got worse with TrueImage 2009. Somehow when I upgraded the software to 2009, they got the serial numbers screwed up and now they are not showing that I own two copies of the 2009 version. I know I do, because they are both running and not complaining about being an eval copy. I have had a request in for 11 days to try to rectify this problem and I have heard nothing back from them yet. I need to get this worked out before I can upgrade to 2010. I really do not know why I am considering the upgrade to TrueImage 2010. It will just have features that are pretty much useless to me, other than backup, and it will probably be buggy enough to really make me mad. I wish backup software was backup software. We don't need gaming mode, try before you buy, etc. Just basic backup software!

Well, it is off to see what else is available. After twelve days of waiting, I still have no answer on this issue. You would think with the economy like it is a company would want to keep its customers, not loose them. At this point I would use the windows backup utility before I would come back to Acronis.

I've checked your account and found out that your second copy of Acronis True Image 2009 Home wasn't registered. Now I have registered it, so all records are correct now.
