Hello Sean,

thank you for your question! I will be glad to assist you.

This error message is not typical and most probably bootable media wasn't burned correct for any reason.

That is why first of I offer you to create a new bootable media.

If it doesn't help, please create a screenshot to illustrate the problem, gather system report and contact Acronis Support.

Let me know if you have any additional questions.

Thank you.

Hello Anna,

When Product native bootable media Build: #5560 Size: 435.63 MB Date: 2013-08-28 00:00:00 is opened with 7zip , it shows contents upto 150 MB. Why 435.63-150= 285.63. doesn't show up ?????

Even after changing settings for showing Hidden Files , it shows recovery folder of 150 MB only ??

Acronis True Image 2014 is of size 269 MB .

Why there is a big difference between the both ?

Please Help !

Sean,

I had the same problem. I re-downloaded the ISO again and had the same issue. I even tried to create the ISO inside the software and it did the same thing. If you look on the burned discs you will probably see the same thing I did that it only burned about 150 MB even thought the ISO was about 434 MB.

The only way I was able to get it to work was to create the bootable media inside the Acronis software and have it write directly to the CD/DVD.

Not sure why but this worked for me.

Good luck!

Larry

Acronis Linux Media contains files, which cannot be read by Windows only by Linux.

Thank you
