Acronis Named a differential backup archive wrong

Thread needs solution

Acronis Named a backup wrong as its named b3 instead of b4 because its a new full version.
Its supposed to create a full version after every 5 differential versions and name the full version differently than the last full version for the future differential versions.
You can see that the latest version External_HDD_full_b3_s1_v1-2.tib should have been named b4 or External_HDD_full_b4_s1_v1.tib because its a
new full version.
Why is it continuing with b3 when a new full version is created?
b1 is the name for the first full version, b2 for the second and b3 for the third and so on.

Shane,

The ATI database has lost track of the archives for some reason. This can happen if you edit a task, or you restore the system, etc.
You can choose to continue the current task and let ATI sort it out. Validate your backups to make sure that ATI is effectively tracking coherent backup chains.
You can also simply move the tib files you want to keep to another directory on the same disk for safekeeping, delete the backup task from within ATI and recreate the task from scratch (recommended).
