Acronis TIH 2011 and 2012 Boot and Recovery CD does not recognize USB keyboard and mouse

Thread needs solution

Hi,

I want to make backups and restores with
either Acronis TIH 2011 or 2012 Linux based "Boot and Recovery CD".

The problem is, that keyboard and mouse do not get recognized on boot, are simply "dead".

This happened after updating my system with this new components:
- Xeon E5-1650v3
- Supermicro Mainboard X10SRi-F
http://www.supermicro.nl/products/motherboard/Xeon/C600/X10SRi-F.cfm
- Intel C612 Chipset

Is there a fix or workaround for this problem for TIH 2011 or 2012 ?

Otherwise is this solved in TIH 2014 ?
If possible I would like to avoid TIH 2015 after its facelift and downscaling of features...

This sounds like a driver issue to me. I would suspect that the 2011 and 2012 versions of TI do not support the C612 Chipset. If you have an old PS2 keyboard/mouse around use it to perform the tasks. I keep one on hand for issues like this.
